Ah ok.  I would probably use it to see if anyone is around to play puyo vs or something.
Usually the forum works well enough for my needs but it would be healthier to be more social.

I doubt anyone will watch closely enough to be available for video games, but the forums is where the real shit happens and I recommend everyone joins

Re: ITT: Pretend we are still writing in osu! OT

there is literally nothing wrong with highlighting people to ask them to play video games, also /query works well

Re: ITT: Pretend we are still writing in osu! OT

just never use /notice nobody uses it and it's shit (more like a whisper than a "pm", shows inside the active channel's toast rather than in a new window/tab) by default and is only really ever good for interacting with bots

https://threatpost.com/utorrent-users-w … ty/130030/

stop using uT, now.

i'm making this clear:
Every version of uTorrent sans the most up to date beta one (which is full of mal-/bloatware) is vulnerable to a serious attack and are completely obsolete. uTorrent 2.2.1 is no longer a good option for a BitTorrent-client.

if you are lost and confused in the world of torrent clients now, both qbittorrent and deluge are serviceable alternatives

Definitely recommending qbit. Pretty nice alternative and without any major issues.

Re: ITT: Pretend we are still writing in osu! OT

I'll give qbit a shot then.

Was getting tired of uTorrent 2.2.1 trying to push updates anyway

hi actually https://bugs.chromium.org/p/project-zer … d=1524#c24 this seems to say 2.2.1 is fine?
utorrent is still a piece of shit and I still highly recommend people move on from it as it's old and unsupported, but it seems that 2.2.1 doesn't have the innate security flaws described
