Got back from a trip, cleaned the house, played with pets after they ignored my existence. All in all just like IppE - pretty fine.

just curious,
what were your worst teacher experiences in school ?
for me, it was on parents' day where my father met my english teacher and ... it didn't go well. i remember crying halfway through. she had basically ridiculed me in front of my dad and was always exaggerating as if i was the reason for all the F's in class. i'm not saying i was completely innocent but it was way too much for my little brain and i really didn't know how to defend myself in that situation. this was in 8th/9th class i believe. i feel like my self-consciousness only went downhill from there.

I've been a little too engrossed in drawing lately. I'm glad with my results but I've been putting off pretty much everything else. Need to get my sleep schedule and daily routine back in order.

That sounds miserable, geez. What a lack of awareness on her part.
My worst experience was probably with my first year design professor. It was a very frustrating year where I learned very little about actual design and I ended up afraid to ask for help or even experiment with projects because of her.

I mean there's a lot
there was the lady who decided that me tossing a book on the table is a personal attack towards her and sent me a strongly worded e-mail about how she was frightened
there was the guy who in front of the class decided to tell me how I'm emotionally immature and berate me about it, then bounced halfway through the year which left us with a teacher who'd never taught said curriculum before
there's the guy who knows the curriculum of his subject worse than I do, and is the sole reason I'm not guaranteed a top mark in his subject (I had an easy top grade for the entirety of the year we did without him)
the lady who took me getting shit grades in her subject as a personal attack, the truth was I just hated her and the way she taught (and nearly everyone else did as well, she became a psycho after her husband cheated on her)
the guy who was supposed to teach us maths online but was something like 5-6 hours ahead of us in timezones meaning getting a hold of him was at least a 2-day process
man my school does a lot of terrible hiring decisions

you both have got this, as long as you keep your mind in it. I believe in all of us making it through
related topic it's my last day of classes in high school and it's a terrifying concept, but at least I get to hang around wearing terrible old clothes from 2008-2009

oh man what a nice birthday I went out to play billiards and drink some beers with dad and his girlfriend
talked a bunch about playing music and billiards
half an hour in he suggested we go smoke some cigarettes, I'd been hiding my smoking habit from him not knowing his girlfriend smoked and that he's into e-cigs
got a book and this weekend I'm getting a laptop and an electric piano from him
