you have allot your comment implies there is no point in training ,ive been a student for 22 years now head rep for this system in new zealand I grew up on the streets till such time as Grandmaster Henderson found me and adopted me gave me a home a family and I can promise u sir the system is fully effective both greg and I worked doors of nightclubs for many years both a back ground of life on the streets we know very well whats real what works ,what can be done with the stick can be done empty hand and so on ,when u evolve you develop an ability to instinctively what works ,eskrima has sections that cover everything its more than just stick ,research eskrima research boxing grappling alot of todays boxing comes from the phillipines such as bobing and weaving , as for trapping etc well when we un load we make that moves at such a speed you do not have time dancing around we finish things within four moves , S.A.N.D survive adapt nullify destroy. these systems are based completely on survival Eskrimadors do not dance around we are not pretty we are effective we have developed ability's that very few other systems have due to the range of weapons and empty hand skill sets these systems are born from death matches . you have some ! valid points but you have very little understanding in whats these systems offer and less understanding in the reasoning of why there is every point to training in a wide range skill developing techniques , hence our Grandmaster is now seeked out by many systems to come to there schools and teach some of our insights which are re guarded by the wise and well experienced as highly effective in eskrimas ability to to adapt and over come in all situations , eskrima is evolution we are un restricted . you do not think when in a fight you do you are you become one with all that is in the present you re evaluate the immediate present as it happens you dont think you training is your way is energy is your very being . I have survived the streets ten years door work on clubs prison , I know through real life events Eskrima systems work .
