What is wrong is that you think 'free trade and travel' are the issues. Make all the trade deals you want, you don't need the EU for that. Free travel is more complicated, but I can't be bothered going into that right now.
The problems are the immigrants, the stifling regulations, and the fact that the EU itself is an anti-democratic centralised nightmare of corrupt bureaucracy.

Make all the trade deals you want, you don't need the EU for that.
