well it's not too expensive if you make smart decisions. drugstore has a lot to offer and there are great brands like Colourpop or other brands which are lowcost but still have awesome products. and well, it's stuff you collect with time too. the amount youtubers have is so big it's almost disgusting

Man I don't even do that. My eyes just get itchy as hell whenever I use something on them. And my hands* are too shaky to apply the eyeliner properly. Omg I am a total failure when it comes to makeup, I look sick next to my friends lol
