The storage issue usually comes from the phone being installed with bloatware which is a pain in the ass to deal with in any scenario.

Apps are fine, there some apps that are 1GB-heavy, so that's why the extra space.

Images lol, I don't store that many.

Videos, I don't store videos, maybe if I feel like recording something, which I rarely do.

About audio, I don't tend to store too much, I kinda listen a bit of everything.

And if by other you mean data cache then that's an instant delete.

The only apps that are 1GB-heavy are games, so the solution is to stop playing games on your phone you dirty phone gamer.

The one and only thing that should be taking up the most space in your phone is the system software.
