The root of the problem isn't exhaustion, so, as a result, resting didn't do much.

I'm for the nice lady who has russian roots because we need to fix the fact that russians and estonians live in almost completely separate communities in the country, and she's a neat symbol of unification
also she's good with foreign affairs which is very good

Same. Lots of people have this problem. But at least you can be encouraged by the fact that you're still smarter/more talented and have accomplished more than most people, even if you don't finish what particular schooling you've started.

Re: ITT: Pretend we are still writing in osu! OT

Being smart and talented means nothing when you don't work hard enough to get what you need to achieve.  Any idiot can be successful in life if they just work hard enough.  Being smart and talented only matters to people who want to go above the normal grade of successful, sacrifice their social life and achieve far more than just working a nice paying job.  This only applies to people like athletes, artists, scientists etc etc.

Sadly, aptitude doesn't equate to motivation. I might find some respite knowing I'm well suited to certain tasks, I guess, but I don't think I'll ever have the drive to match it.

Re: ITT: Pretend we are still writing in osu! OT

It's all about mentality.  If you think you can do it and you work hard to achieve it, then you can.  If you don't have the drive, then you can't.  Being smart or whatnot isn't a factor since all you need for a normal job is skills and in order to gain the skills you need knowledge; anyone can gain knowledge no matter how stupid they are.  There's no point pursuing a field you have lost interest in, after all, you'll be working in that field for a good chunk of your life and you don't want to be stuck with something that doesn't suit you.

that's exactly the reason we need someone like her to unify people behind her
our central party is still effectively promoting segregation between us and Russians
Estonians like her because she's smart and doesn't like putin
Russians like her cause she's part russian

At least you don't fail at aptitude and motivation. Because that sucks.

But you still draw don't you? Even if you don't get a super successful high paying job you can derive a lot of satisfaction from a hobby.

Re: ITT: Pretend we are still writing in osu! OT

Oh yeah, totally. I still have plenty in the way of friends, hobbies, and opportunities, so it's not like I'm in a hopeless void, but this is probably going to haunt me for a while to come.
