I wouldn't say that either, considering how arguments here tend to almost become violent at times
I'm seeing it more as a internet and arguing addicts anonymous where we all secretly hate each other

Pretty sure all people who ''discuss'' politics on the internet are degenerates in their own right. No offense : ^ )

Nowadays a lot of the people in off-topic are of the kind that thinks it's a place where you literally post things with no content (actually we've had people like that since the beginning), while here are more people that are just talking about random things.
The discussion ("drama") that happened last night is mostly between people of the second group so it's essentially the same as if we would have the discussion here.
If it was people like faiswusuf there wouldn't even be a discussion like that because he doesn't have the braincapacity to do so.

I don't hate anyone here, you're alone. Also most arguments here are just B1rd and Mahogany buttfucking each other.

that's what someone who hates everyone around him would say
and bird is gone yet we are very successfully continuing the argument tradition both on here and on irc, so I don't really see the point on that one

Without b1rd I don't really see much potential for arguments here
I think you're all pretty cool

you're ok too but I can't stand the people who are still here and won't contain their excitement for trump's presidency into designated spaces for it
I also think several people on here (or more the irc) are wasting their lives or just making their lives worse despite knowing exactly how they could better succeed, and that a few are just generally despicable, but nobody appointed me to be the morals police here and I've had enough fighting in the past week to last me until the end of the year so I'm not going to start publicly calling people out. everyone I'm talking about more or less knows who they are

He said most, not all. Arguments are going to break out anyway. How they're handled is up to the people involved.
Frankly, this forum's far from cancerous—past all the ironic fronts, few people here really fit that criteria. Everyone's always trying to bring something to the table here, and I think it shows. Not everyone enjoys it, but it's definitely better than what the osu forums has to offer. I was actually happy when arguments would break out in OT because it meant people would stop posting shitty memes and ERPing for a moment to actually make an effort to defend their stances.

Not much you can do about it. Heck, I'm pretty sure anything you've said isn't news to them.
I know it sucks to see, but it's a problem with drive. These are people who are crippled in several ways, or at least perceive themselves as such, and thus will rarely feel determined enough to go through with anything. The best you could do is spur them on to accomplish little victories, but you wouldn't be able to do much more than that unless you devoted yourself to the cause.
I remember I helped one overweight NEET up in Georgia get a job once, but that was draining as all hell.

Don't help overweight people, they're a waste of time.
