I was thinking of getting color-tinted glasses to look cool (even though me looking cool is impossible)

i had glasses when i was a little kid.
but they broke every 2 weeks because i played soccer everywhere anytime.
after a while i just stopped wearing them. my eyesight was perfectly fine without them (things far away only look minimally fuzzy with my left eye only)
my glasses also looked ugly on me.. (i always got told that i look like harry potter... )

I was told that until high school.
Then I was told I look exactly like McLOVIN from Superbad.

I feel like I should watch Dr. Strange but with my aunt spamming stuff about it in my Facebook timeline and calling herself a "Cumberbitch" is quite discouraging.
Sherlock is a great series though.

never joining the glasses club because my eyesight is perfect just like every other aspect in me
my eyesight is perfect too but I own the club for fetish purposes.

I was prescribed glasses when I was 15 but I only wore them during classes because they made me look ugly and I had to look good for the gals, ya feel me. I only became a real member of the glasses club when I started wearing them frequently 2 years ago because I started caring less about my appearance and more about actually seeing properly. I'm near sighted so I don't really have to wear them all the time but it makes tasks like driving harder and shit. Fuck glasses tho, they reduce the quality of my looks, I'm getting lasik asap.

You can totally make glasses work if you wear your hair nicely and dress the part. Glasses are the only reason I can bear the sight of my own face! not really :)
But you know your own looks best, so I'd say you should trust your own judgement rather than that of a loser on the internet like me :3

Real talk, I look good no matter what so I still look good with glasses. But I know for a fact that I'm statistically uglier with glasses on than without. How do I know?
First of all, I look at myself in the mirror A LOT so I'm very acquainted with my face from bone structure and everything. Me with glasses on, just not as good.
Secondly, is the amount of compliments I get from friends/random people. How I've grown up, I get compliments about my looks constantly from girls/women of all ages younger to elder, even compliments from guys, no homo, about how good looking I am and how beautiful/handsome the features of my face are. With glasses on I barely get as much as I do without.
Lastly, is the amount of random girls that come up to me and flirt when I'm randomly walking about. Starting off in my teens, I would always get random girls I don't know just randomly come up to me and proceeding to give their names, numbers etc etc. and that has been a normal occurrence ever since it first started. Walking around in the main part of town during a busy hour, I would get at the very least, 5-6 girls flirting with me, an amount in which I wouldn't be able to remember either their names and faces. With glasses on however, that number is severely decreased to around 0-2, an amount in which I would actually be able to remember their names and faces, that's crazy. For me. that's a big shocker, especially when normally, I wouldn't be able to remember a single one of those girls. Granted, I'd rather have less girls flirting with me rather than a lot but knowing I look significantly less appealing with glasses on just doesn't sit right with me.

I remember getting a lot of compliments, even from strangers (which *never* happens), when I had my first set of contact lenses. To be honest, it felt really good. Besides, eye contacts didn't bother me as much as the other people in this thread
dulcet, I can see you lurking and I just want to say I like your posts in necro
T-Thanks
