RIP birb (2009-2017). I'm really glad that she died peacefully in her sleep this morning.

that's an alexandrian parrot!! there are so many of them flying around in cologne!
one of them even randomly flew into my room and we took care of it for ~ a year. what a strange experience that was.
i can clearly remember it tho: it was a friday afternoon and me and my brother were watching the soccer draw for galatasaray's next international match (was 2012 or 2013 iirc, good old time where galatasaray didn't suck).
anyway, there was still some time left and my brother went to the toilet. while he was doing his business, he must've heard weird noises. "MISTIKKK" (how he calls me) i thought that he needed some toilet paper and went close to the door to listen what he had to say.he suddenly asked "did you also hear screams or did it come from the tv" (our appartment is REALLY small so it was normal that you could hear the tv while shitting). i have no idea what he is talking about. "must've came from the tv" i answered.
10 minutes later, me and my brother (business over), are watchin the draw finally happening (before it was only the lame introduction rule explanation shit that always takes place). then, we CLEARLY hear screams and cries from the next door. we both look at each other, confused as fuck, and decide to enter the room where it comes from.
at first, we didn't see anything. but after a while, i noticed the birb on the top of the shelf. my mind was fucking blown.
we raised it for a while until we got careless and it flew away. i hope it survived in the wildness (or maybe even invaded another strangers' room) and maybe he/she is still alive.
i especially loved the way the he sounded. i still can remember the melodies.
here he is, we called him "panter"
we now have a cat :D
