Re: ITT: Pretend we are still writing in osu! OT

Japan is a pretty endearing place to visit if you're visiting the countryside.  If you're visiting the city though, namely Tokyo for the weeb shit, you should just keep to yourself and avoid prolonged contact/conversation with any millennials.  From my experience visiting Unis in Tokyo, drinking in Izakayas and many other interactions, they are among the rudest and most self-entitled people I've ever met.  I find people of the older generation being the only Japanese natives I can tolerate talking to and I never fully acknowledged/understood how the elderly would complain how rude and uncultured the younger generation was until I spent my 2 months living there.

I can agree with this, elderly Japanese people (namely in cities) are some of the most friendly and welcoming people I have ever met. They are so happy to see foreigners enjoying their country and culture, while young people are kinda bratty in general. I wouldn't say rude/self-entitled, rather mildly reserved (in the xenophobic sense) and expect you to be a cunt. Maybe they've had a bad experience with foreigners, or are just the redpilled people white people can only hope to be.

I'm not white so with first impressions alone, they wouldn't think of me as a dirty, white devil Gaijin.  I was also considered an Ikemen so I was very approachable and nearly all my interactions with them were them initiating.  What I'm getting at here with these points is despite being a foreigner they were never rude to me so Japanese millennials being rude to foreigners wasn't really the point I was trying to make.  They're rude to people in general, not just foreigners, which is surprising considering I thought Japan was a country that commanded more respect for others, especially elders; the way they spoke/spoke about others and carried themselves; their manner of speech and body expression was very akin to a spoiled, white, rich kid.  They act so full of themselves despite still being in Uni and not having achieved anything yet deserving of merit.  They're like that one friend you have or have had who is cool with you but act so full of themselves that you, yourself can't tolerate them and I'm not just talking about one individual here, 90% of all the people I met there around my age were like this.  Of course not all Japanese millennials fall under this category but I'd say a good majority of them in the big cities do.

People from the countryside were alot more humble though but then again, I never spoke to high schoolers and they had alot more of an older population since a good majority of kids go to the city for Uni instead of staying in their hometown.
