At what age is high school supposed to happen to you? I don't trust the output of the dictionary to be accurate enough, since things don't properly correlate to our school system in terminology

Well here middle school and high school are merged into something called secondary school which goes from 12 to 17 (or 18 if in a technical secondary school). Some countries do this as well and some others have them separated.

It's like this in Australia too. From 13 - 18 is Secondary School.
Within Secondary School, Middle Schoolers 13-15, Senior Schoolers 16-18.

Yeah since here we have the grades 1-6 (7-13) 7-9 (13-15) (which is elementary and primary school split?) and then you choose high school/gymnasium/college (however it translates to english) or vocational/trade school, which is usually 3 to 4 years.
And since it seems it varies from country to country too it's always a little challenging to pinpoint the frame of times what people mean

I don't know why this feels odd to me to read eloquent thoughts but maybe it's considering my only interaction with you is in a half asleep nonlucid state. Maybe next year we can hang out!!!

I like everybody!!!

Yeah the difference can be quite drastic in comparison, especially since it's very different to just stay up all night out of your own volition vs. enjoying the frustration that insomnia brings. The other option would've just been me being asleep before you guys even returned and not catching a glimpse at all shrug
