Running my own thread necromancy here now: https://osu.ppy.sh/forum/t/802725
This forum needs and needed more events and it needs more people
Railey mentioned that OT is suffering a bit of stagnation due to lack of people, and when you compare that to this forum, he is not far from the truth. I believe all oldfags know of tuuba and 90% of reoccurring newfags know of it too, so spreading the word on OT is pointless. Looking at the userlist I see less than 10% of the people registered on here are posting. This place needs something stirring, something brewing, or otherwise it will coast into nothingness. I believe my ot!neus discord server will suffer the same fate if I don't do something about it eventually. It will be harder to get people back on the bandwagon later on otherwise, which what this forum is facing now.
What do you think the future of tuuba holds?
it's almost freezing in Rochester these past couple days
What's with the fingers?
Also I wonder if anyone requested you to do Bowsette yet
har har
long time no see
I don't really know much about thelewa other than he an OT oldfag, but I didn't expect my first time hearing about him in a long while would be like this.
rest in peace
you blocking cop would've read as 'no result' as opposed to 'town', which could throw up a red flag regardless
That would just let the cop know that the action got role blocked. It says nothing about the player they investigated. When you know mafia has a role blocker, that is expected. Not sure what the red flags are, but a lucky pick for the mafia and an unfortunate result for the cop.
so you could've just killed Aurani himself to ensure he can't interfere in future nightkills.
But the thing is that there would be no more future nightkills. It was my last night action before my certain death.
During first night my greatest fear was that I would be investigated by the cop. That leads to inevitable town victory and nothing I can say or do will change it otherwise unless some townie wants to sabotage. I figured the odds of that were pretty low, so I removed fittan and decided to use his read on A.A and Hades to my advantage. As soon as Ippe posted the cop roleclaim along with investigation, it was over. It doesn't take a genius to figure out how the game is going to go from then on, so I posted how town will achieve victory. At that point I was a sitting duck, and the only other thing I could do is stall the game as long as I could because I had no other end goal. I chose to kill lefafel over any other player because I figured he was the one less likely to be protected by A.A.
Imo tupsu's decision to change my special ability to tracker kinda doomed me. At least with a roleblock I could have used it on someone in an attempt to hide from a cop, but tracking would not help me in any way with how this played out.
idk what to do
zertap why are you not scum?
For the steal!
Let's get this over with
vote: IppE
If I'm not going insane, he stated how he investigated him because he seemed the most suspicious, and sure enough got an anti-town response.
How he thought abra is the most suspicious one is beyond me, however.
He actually explained why he decided to investigate me in the post he voted me.
I noticed that on D1 you did actually not do any scumhunting, something you've generally done in past games when you're on town's side. All you did was just defend your initial no-lynch vote which you just conveniently forgot was very anti-town until you were reminded of it. Since fittan was actually doing some proper scumhunting and the 3 other stooges were generally inactive but not outright suspicious I decided to inspect you during the night and what do you know, it turns out you're anti town.
And I feel I need to clear this up. The no-lynch vote was a mistake, and I didn't conveniently forget it was anti-town. I didn't expect it to be a counted vote. It is also anti-town to self vote, which I would have done if the spinner landed on me (although I admit I have no proof that I didn't spin it multiple times).
Tho as I was rereading that, this doesn't seem right with me.

By 3 stooges, you are refering to A.A., zertap, and Lefafel? I don't think I was more active then any of them the first day. Whatever explanation for the reason you would have to decide to investigate me for, I don't think "the 3 other stooges were generally inactive" would be a valid part of it.
Since we are role claiming, vanilla townie. Last role claim is on zertap
Sorry I meant to say "Why didn't you role claim from the beginning of D2 (this day) and only did it now? "

D1 was way way too short for me to do scumhunting. I always compile data about the people in game to draw conclusions prior to deciding who to vote for, and we were still pretty much into the random vote phase.
Who knows, maybe you killed them all?
Roleclaim: Cop

Why didn't you role claim from the beginning of D1 and only did it now? With one scum remaining and nobody having nuetral roles, for a cop to role claim following and investigation of an anti town player means checkmate for the scum.
- The scum can't roleclaim as cop at this point, otherwise the real cop would simply role claim and the fake and real would be sorted out by the next day via lynching one of them. This means either you are a real cop, or we are waiting for the real cop to role claim.
- If a player claims to be a cop and have inspected someone who happens to be anti town, then the cop has forfilled their purpose. Lynching the cop would confirm whether they are lying or not, and the scum is dead next day.
It's also kind of adorable how you claim to not know how the tracker role works.
I actually didn't know how it works
