Understandable. The anime is unironically the best sports anime though. I recommend watching either Cinderella Gray, Road to the Top or the Beginning of a New Era movie. You can watch any of them without prior knowledge of the series, I started with the movie personally.

The anime is great itself, the game is very boring
uninstalled it after getting mejiro in my first 10 pulls
